Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

  • Email address - collected by Paddle at checkout, or provided by an architect if they invited you to a session
  • Name - provided by you, or by an architect if they invited you
  • Conversation content - your answers during the guided session
  • Session data - progress, section summaries, and the generated brief
  • Technical data - IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, and general location, collected via analytics.
  • Consent record - the date you accepted our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

2. How We Use It

We use your data to provide the service — to generate your brief, deliver your PDF, and send session-related emails (welcome, reminder, and brief delivery) — to understand and improve how our site and service perform, and to develop and improve Nestbrief, including its AI systems. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it to third parties.

If an architect sent you your session link, they receive a copy of your finished brief. This includes your priorities, your budget, and any points of disagreement the conversation surfaced. They do not see your live conversation, only the finished brief. If you bought your session directly, nobody else receives it.

3. Who Processes Your Data

  • Paddle (paddle.com) - processes payments as our Merchant of Record. Subject to Paddle's Privacy Policy.
  • Anthropic - your conversation content is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate your brief. Subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
  • Supabase - your session data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure.
  • Resend - used to deliver emails to you.
  • Google (Analytics and Ads) - provides aggregate website usage and advertising measurement. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Meta Platforms (Facebook) - receives aggregate analytics and conversion data via the Meta Pixel to measure our advertising performance and reach. Subject to Meta's Privacy Policy.
  • Your architect - if an architect sent you your session link, they receive a copy of your finished brief.

4. Data Retention

We retain your session data — including your conversation and generated brief — to provide the service, for our own analysis, and to improve and develop Nestbrief, including its AI systems. We keep this data unless you ask us to delete it. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@nestbrief.com, and we will delete it. If you are located in the EU or UK, you have the right to access, correct, and erase your personal data under GDPR/UK GDPR, and we honor these requests.

5. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the service to function, Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site, and the Meta Pixel (Facebook) to measure our advertising performance and reach. We use only necessary and analytics/measurement cookies, not third-party ad-targeting cookies, and we do not sell your data.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, email hello@nestbrief.com. If you are located in the EU or UK, you have additional rights under GDPR and UK GDPR.
